The analytics tool used, Simple Analytics complies by design with all privacy policies, including: GDPR, PECR, CCPA and more. While no personal data of visitors, not any - not ever, is stored.

Nonetheless a few statistics cookies will be set by third parties, e.g. YouTube, Vimeo, and Dailymotion, unless they are blocked by the user. Statistics cookies help website owners to understand how visitors interact with websites by collecting and reporting information anonymously.

Furthermore several marketing cookies will be set by third parties (YouTube, Prezi, Dailymotion) unless they are blocked by the user. This concerns the embedded videos use on my website.

The visitor's geo-location is identified to check if the EU e-privacy Directive is applicable.

There are no authentication cookies used as there are no login procedures.

 

As a result of the above, visitors will be presented with a ‘cookie banner’ when they first visit my website, which is an obligation based on EU web privacy rules and regulation.
